I'm a caretaker for one of his patients and I can say he and his staff goes above and beyond to help attain and maintain wellness. I've had several great doctors, considering my father was one who would often hear feedback from his patients about other providers, but I can say, Dr. Ricks is exceptional.

Dr. Jason Ricks is one of the most professional medical specialists around. Dr. Ricks is knowledgeable, understanding, professional, and will spend the time to help you understand whatever issue you are experiencing. If you need a referral to a specialist, he knows just the medical specialist to whom he sends you. Dr. Ricks listens and cares. I always feel as though I am his only patient whenever I have an appointment. The entire staff there make me feel like royalty EVERY SINGLE TIME! Thank you to you all for the BEST care!!

The best experience I've ever had with a medical professional and staff. Dr. Ricks is extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, thorough, and explains things in a way that I can actually understand. I knew, almost immediately, that I would be in very good hands with Dr Ricks. His office and staff are incredible, as well. I'm so fortunate to have found such an amazing doctor.

First office is clean, inviting, friendly efficient staff that is helpful in everyway. Second, Dr. Ricks is OUTSTANDING. On time appointment, not rushed. He is compassionate, competent, incredible caring professional. Very comfortable and at ease to talk to . He is very thorough, attention to details, precise about any questions concerning my health issues, explaining in a knowledgeable , sensitive, informative understanding manner . Willingness to listen to me as a patient is another GREAT quality of his among others. Very pleasant doctor. I truly feel very confident in receiving EXPERT medical care from this office. I highly recommend DR. Ricks for their primary physician.

Dr. Ricks' reviews were all positive which was the main reason why I selected him as my primary doctor. I had my first visit yesterday and the reviews were spot on! The staff were welcoming and friendly. Dr. Ricks was thorough, friendly, approachable and didn't come off as rushed like so many other doctors I've visited. I am so glad I found him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality doctor and overall GREAT patient experience.

Dr. Ricks is an excellent doctor, he listens to you and actually spends the time to explain what is going on and how he plans on treating you. Very, very friendly doctor who actually seems to care and makes you feel comfortable. He even answers questions sent via Atlantic Health website whereas other doctors have their office staff do it. His office staff are excellent, from the people who do the check-in/check-out to the nurses, all are extremely friendly and personable. Highly recommend him if looking for a doctor.

Dr. Jason Ricks is one of the most thorough physicians I have ever met. I am a 75 year old man who has had many health issues during the course of my adult life. When my wife and I moved to Denville over four years ago Dr. Ricks was recommended to us. I had many doctors for a number of different health issues before we moved here. At my first appointment in discussing this, aside from my cardiologist, Dr. Ricks suggested that we wait to find other specialists I had previously had, that he would prescribe the medications I was on at that point, and if the time came that I needed a specialist, he would recommend one. That is the path we have followed, and it has been very successful. Dr. Ricks has recommended two or three specialists to me since that time when it was necessary. As far as his care, I have never had a doctor who spent so much time with me in an appointment, gave me such thorough examinations, and asked so many health related questions. When you leave an appointment with him, you know that everything has been covered in detail. I so appreciate the amount of time he spends with me in an appointment and all the areas he covers. Dr. Ricks is an outstanding physician. I would also like to mention Dr. Ricks' office staff. They are very competent and professional in their dealings with me, courteous, and among the nicest individuals I have met in an office setting such as this.

Great experience all around. Dr Ricks is thorough and professional but also easy to talk with. He explains why he recommends some tests and not others. Great listener. Highly recommend. The office is organized and well run. Staff is responsive and follows through on any issue presented.

Dr. Ricks has been my primary care physician for the last 4-5 years or more. Scheduling appointments, even last minute ones, is never an issue. He's reassuring, knowledgeable, and converses in easy to understand plain-talk. He never fails to discuss my medications, and is thoroughly familiar with medical results from other providers prior to my appointment. I have the utmost confidence in his advice and treatments. Likewise his staff is friendly, courteous, professional, and very efficient. Dr. Ricks and his staff always exceed my expectations.

As a nurse, I believe my standards are always set higher when I walk in for a personal appointment. Dr. Ricks and his team were excellent. The two receptionists, the CNA, and Dr. Ricks exercised professionalism as well as making the experience comfortable and personal. Between the CNA and Dr. Ricks, I had direct patient care for almost one hour and, therefore, felt heard as a patient and comfortable to bring up issues concerning me. Dr. Ricks made sure I had all of the necessary information, follow up appointments, and prescriptions to succeed after I left his office. He recommended his own GI doctor to me which made me feel confident in the GI’s skill level. He explained exactly where I needed to go for labs. He was nonjudgmental and thorough, and, from the perspective of someone on the inside, I know just how hard spending that much time with a patient (and truly being present) can be. I didn’t feel rushed, but, rather, cared for. I would definitely recommend him and his office to others for primary care.
